LeWeb London have started accepting entries for their 2013 Startup Competition.
Now in its second year, LeWeb London will see some of the biggest speakers in the world of technology descend on London, for two days over June 5th and 6th.
Speakers at this year’s event include Michael Arrington, Martin Varsavksy, Robert Scoble and Lily Cole. The theme of the event is ‘New Sharing Economy‘.
The LeWeb startup competition has become something of a tradition at LeWeb events, both in London and Paris, bringing together the most exciting and promising startups and giving them a platform to shout from.
Startups entering the competition this year must not have raised more than $2million of investment, must address either consumer or business users and must have a big announcement to make at LeWeb London.
The deadline for entering the competition is April 5th, with semi-finalists notified by May 5th. Those who make it through to the semi-finals will pitch at the event, for a place in the final. The three finalists will pitch on the main stage, where one will be crowned winner.
Last year the augmented reality advertising platform Blippar won the competition.
Startups can enter the LeWeb London Startup Competition . Entries close April 15th at midnight PST.
