Everyone knows the big names in the supercar market—Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti—but few know the niche Italian brand Mazzanti and its latest piece of high-performance eye candy, the Evantra. The 2013 model features a 7.0-liter 700-horsepower V8, Brembo brakes, 20-inch OZ wheels wrapped in Continental tires, and the ability to go from 0 to 62mph in 3.2 seconds.
We’re not sure if 39-year-old automotive designer Luca Mazzanti was inspired by the Batmobile, but we do know he developed the aerodynamics of the carbon-fiber-composite body with YSIM, a company known for its engineering work for F1. Mazzanti will make only five Evantras this year, personalized for each buyer. No matter what their individual differences are, all five bespoke beauties will reach speeds of over 220mph—and look badass doing it.
