How Does Living on The Top Floor Affect You

Lower-floor residents suffer from exhaust fumes and traffic noise – which can have health consequences

How does the floor of the residence affect human health?

As a result of their research, American scientists decided to determine how the floor of a house affects the human body. Experts have come to the conclusion that each floor for people has its own advantages and disadvantages in terms of living.

Analysts say living on the first three floors is psychologically comfortable. But on these floors, especially on the first, there is a lot of shade – because of this, the humidity in the room rises, which leads to the appearance of mold and mildew. In addition, residents of the lower floors suffer from exhaust fumes and traffic noise, which can have health consequences. It is safe for health to live on these floors if the house is located away from the carriageway and located in a green area, away from city noise.

As for living on high floors, electromagnetic radiation and various vibrations can be observed here – this negatively affects the human psyche, blood vessels and the brain. Doctors believe that people who live on high floors are more likely to suffer from headaches and insomnia. This is especially true for those who have problems with the cardiovascular system and blood pressure.

Scientists believe that it is best for families with children to live no higher than the fifth floor.
