This fall, the positive dynamics of car sales was influenced by deferred demand, a decrease in tourist activity, as well as government support measures. Not surprisingly, new car sales in our market have gone up again. Against this background, automakers brought several interesting novelties to in the last month of autumn.
Lada XRay Cross and 4×4
The Lada 4×4 SUV and the XRay Cross “high” hatchback received a special Black version. They differ from standard models in black interior and exterior accents, as well as special nameplates. For example, the XRay Cross has the roof and side mirror housings in this color. The car is equipped with multimedia with Yandex.Auto services, 4G modem and rear view camera. In turn, Lada 4×4 has black rims and outside mirrors. The same color scheme prevails in the interior of the car.
Skoda Karoq
The most affordable modification of the Skoda Karoq compact crossover is equipped with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine and a manual transmission. The motor power is 110 hp. and 155 Nm of torque. The basic equipment includes four airbags, hill start assist, central locking, air conditioning and an eight-speaker audio system.
Nissan Qashqai
Nissan launched the R sales of the restyled Qashqai crossover. The main update was the appearance of the Nissan Connect interface, which provides for smartphone connection via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto applications. Plus, the head unit now has the function of projecting the Yandex.Navigator application from the smartphone screen through the Yandex.Auto program. The system can be controlled using built-in voice commands. The range of engines has not undergone changes – the Qashqai is equipped with a 1.2-liter petrol turbo engine with 115 horsepower and a 2.0-liter 144-horsepower “aspirated”.
Skoda Octavia
The main novelty of Skoda was the fourth generation Octavia. So far, only a liftback with a 1.4-liter petrol turbo engine with a capacity of 150 horsepower is available for order, which is paired with a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission. Older versions of the novelty are equipped with LED optics, a digital instrument panel and a large 10-inch display of the media system.
Great Wall Wingle 7
Great Wall returned to the market with the new Wingle 7 pickup. The five-seater car is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine with 143 horsepower. The engine works in conjunction with a six-speed “mechanics” and an all-wheel drive system with a transfer case Borg Warner. Pickup trucks are sold by dealers Haval (this company is part of Great Wall).
Kia Sorento
The fourth-generation Sorento mid-size crossover has already arrived at Kia dealerships. Cars for our market are assembled at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad. The range of engines of the novelty includes a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 180 hp, working together with a six-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the crossover is available with a 2.2-liter diesel engine producing 199 horsepower, which works in conjunction with a new eight-speed robotic transmission.
Toyota RAV4
The popular Toyota RAV4 crossover has received a special version is called Style. The novelty is made on the basis of the “Comfort” trim level and is distinguished by a black and white body color with dark accents. The radiator grille, mirror caps and front and rear bumper covers are also painted black. The crossover can be purchased with gasoline units of the Dynamic Force family of 2.0 (150 hp) and 2.5 liters (200 hp).
Audi A4 and A5
The updated Audi A4 and A5 debuted last year, but they have only reached the market now. Both cars, after restyling, received minor changes in appearance, as well as an improved multimedia system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display. The updated models are equipped with three gasoline engines, which work in conjunction with a 12-volt starter-generator. The largest SUV in the Kia model lineup was delighted with advanced driver assistance systems, and older versions are equipped with a limited-slip rear axle differential.
Toyota Fortuner
The updated Toyota Fortuner SUV with an upgraded 2.8-liter tubed diesel. Engine power increased from 177 hp. from. and 450 Nm of torque up to 200 forces and 500 Nm. Externally, the Fortuner can be distinguished from its predecessor thanks to a wider grille, chrome inserts in the front of the body, different LED headlights and modified bumpers.
Infiniti QX80
Infiniti has opened orders for the updated QX80 crossover. The main changes in the restyled model affected the interior of the car. The car has got a new infotainment complex with two separate touchscreen displays with a diagonal of 7 and 8 inches and a more powerful processor. Infiniti QX80 also received an upgraded Bluetooth module and an improved voice control system.
Range Rover
Jaguar Land Rover has started selling a special version of Range Rover called Fifty, which is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the SUV. They decided to limit the circulation of the car to 1970 copies – in honor of the year of the appearance of the first Range Rover. The novelty is built on the basis of the most luxurious Autobiography equipment and differs from the standard car with special elements of the exterior and interior, including 22-inch wheels and the “Fifty” emblem with a font developed by the chief designer of the British brand Jerry McGovern.
