Do you understand that you are doing something wrong in life? But do not know what you would like to devote your time to? You have no idea what your vocation is and where could you successfully fulfill your potential? We’ll show you how to find answers to these questions. Before you are 7 steps to self-realization.

The ideal life is believed to be success in love, social life and career. But everyone has their own life values. And everyone sees success differently. Finding more than just a profitable business is important to truly be happy. And a real vocation in which you want to develop. To make it easier to do this, use these tips.

1. Turn your passion into a source of income

You’ve probably heard the phrase: find something you like and you won’t have to work a day. Do not be skeptical about this statement. Agree, there is no better prospect than getting good money for your hobby. So think about what is the main passion in your life? What do you really like to do even for free? What’s the best thing? And then it’s up to the little – to figure out how to turn it into a source of income. Today you can make money on almost anything.

Even if you only love to play online games and taste delicious food, you have a few areas to consider. You can go for cooking or tastings, game development or go into e-sports, start a thematic blog, YouTube or Twitch channel – as you can see, there are a lot of options. And so with any hobby.

Of course, you will have to improve your skills and fully immerse yourself in this field to become a professional in it. However, it won’t be that difficult if you really enjoy the activity.

2. Imagine an ideal world …

Another way to determine your top priorities is to reflect on what an ideal world should look like. What is your utopia like? How is it different from reality? Perhaps your purpose is precisely to bring the real world closer to this ideal image. Think about how you can improve the lives of certain people, what products you need to create, what services to offer.

Don’t limit yourself to boundaries. Let go of fantasy and let yourself just dream. Write down any thoughts that come to mind. Pay attention to all the details and accents. And only then think about how to translate them into reality.

3. … and a perfect life

Now focus on yourself. Imagine an improved version of your life. What is missing from it? To make it easier, write down the phrase “In an ideal life, I …” fifteen times. And fill in the blanks. For example: “In an ideal life, I communicate only with like-minded people,” “In an ideal life, I travel a lot,” and so on. Then focus on the verbs you wrote down. Compare them with each other and choose the five that seem most important to you. So you will understand what are your main guidelines at this stage of life.

4. Remember the best moments of your life

To understand what is most important to you, think about the moments in which you experienced the greatest joy. As a rule, it is at such moments that we do what is important to us, we move along the right path. What has given you the most satisfaction in the past? Take a little time and remember all the times when you were sincerely glad. Let it be little things or something strange, just list everything.

To find guidelines for your personality, analyze what all these points have in common. What unites them. Think about how you could experience similar joy more often. It is likely that the answer to this question will tell you the goal to strive for.

5. Add specifics

When making a list, avoid vague wording. It is difficult to achieve goals like “I want a lot of money and recognition”, because it is not clear what you have to do for this and what result to get. How much is a lot of money? How should recognition be expressed? You need specific tasks to figure out what to do. There may even be several of them, united by one topic, the same wealth, for example. Just prioritize them and reach them one at a time.

6. Get directions

So, you have decided on the main vectors of development and made a list of goals. Now you need to paint all the points on the way to achieving them. It looks like a real map. At one point is your present life, at the other – the future to which you are striving. Find the best route from point A to point B. Think about what skills you need to learn, what courses to take, what to read, watch, listen to. What daily habits are worth adding to your life, what to acquire. Who to meet and what to develop. The more specific points you put on the “map”, the easier it will be to schedule them and start moving towards your goal.

7. Be patient

It should be understood that a feeling of complete satisfaction will not come immediately at the stage of developing a plan. And even in the early stages of its implementation, too. The path to self-realization can be quite long and arduous. Or maybe, on the contrary, – fast and easy. But in any case, everything will not happen overnight. Be ready to move towards your goal gradually, completing the planned points daily.

Don’t give in to doubts, fears, laziness, self-doubt, and other similar emotions. Keep the whole picture in your head at all times – the ideal life you are striving for. This will help you find the strength to overcome difficulties. And, of course, don’t forget to believe in yourself.
